Darlene is an Elder of Lheidli T’enneh First Nation. She is Grouse clan, daughter of Mary Quaw of Lheidli T’enneh and Peter Zatorski of Prince George. She is the granddaughter of Elsie George from Saik’uz First Nation and Augusta Quaw of Lheidli T’enneh. Darlene is devoted to family, she is married over 40 years to Neil McIntosh and is mother to Blake (Laurie) and Kyle, and a dedicated grandmother to Jake and Konnor. Darlene represents Lheidli T’enneh nation as an Elder and an Ambassador, doing Traditional Welcomes and Opening prayers. Darlene is the Cultural Advisor in the Aboriginal Resource Centre of the College of New Caledonia (CNC) where she support students, advises faculty and does spiritual work for the wider community. Darlene’s center, especially within this role, is one of balance and harmony within the teachings of The Medicine Wheel. She is a natural teacher who brings a fresh perspective into the notion of indigenization and truth and reconciliation.
Darlene has a gift of weaving her spiritual connection into words that resonate beyond her responsibilities as Elder, Advisor and teacher. Darlene’s writing has been published, most recently, in multiple publications.
Ann LaBillois is a Mi’gmaw Elder from Ugpi’ganjig (Eel River Bar). Ms. Elder Ann LaBillois grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, moved back to Eel River Bar, worked as an addiction’s counsellor for 12 yrs. A certified Facilitator for MBSR (Mindful, Based Stress Reduction), thru the University of Massachusetts. Retired and currently a student at Dalhousie University in Philosophy and working as the Elder in Residence at the University. Ann has 3 wonderful children and 3 Blessed grandchildren.
Growing up in rural NL, Abigale’s sound and tone come from a different time and another place. Often referred to as an “old soul,” she carries a sincere and genuine country quality throughout her music that complements her grit and determination.
While still in her teens, Abigale recently released “Different Roads,” her second studio album. The first, “Country True,” earned her a MusicNL Country Artist Of The Year nomination and a mark on the east coast music scene.
Jacqueline Nutting (violinist) and Scott McKnight (cello) are founding members of the YXE Quartet, which had its inception in 2019. The YXE Quartet performs for events around the city and offers a wide array of musical genres. Both Scott and Jacqueline perform with the Saskatoon Symphony and enjoy teaching privately. Tiffany Ponce is an award-winning R&B/pop singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a follow-up to the release of her debut album “Only the Beginning”, Ponce released her sophomore album “Gratitude” in dedication to her supportive Filipino parents and won the award for Songwriter of the Year at the Canadian Urban Television Hip Hop Awards. Adrian House is a bilingual singer-songwriter from St. John’s, NL. Winner of the 2022 Government of NL Arts & Letters Award, Adrian was a finalist at the 2022 Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, N.B. A consummate performer with over 20 years of experience, Adrian’s music is an exciting journey full of passion, mischief and wonder. He is currently at work on an album entirely in French, due out in summer 2023.

Arwant is a lawyer at an immigration and family law lawyer at a prominent boutique law firm in Downtown, Vancouver.
Arwant is also a Sarangi player/Dhadi and has been performing for over a decade. Although Arwant developed his base in Indian classical music from grade 1, he was first introduced to the Sarangi in grade 6 and has been learning ever since. Through this art, he has become a young advocate/preacher of social justice by participating in projects focussing on taboo issues, including gender equality, mental health and drug abuse. In 2016 and 2018, Arwant served as the musical accompanist for the site-specific stage play, “The Undocumented Trial of William C. Hopkinson.” He has also appeared as a guest anthem performer at the Vancouver Canucks game.
